Prelim - Front Cover

I have created a school magazine as part of my prelim task. I think it is quite good however could be improved if more time was spent on it. It isn't very professional looking, although more people said they would prefer a less formal magazine. It has included articles people said they would enjoy (such as prom and exam results) so it appeals to my target audience. I have taken  my own pictures so there are no copyright issues and made sure everyone on it is both over sixteen and gave consent to be on the front cover. I have tried to use the same font throughout to create continuity however I have used different fonts for my headline and title which is something I could improve. There may also be too much writing on the front, rather than pictures as my target audience research showed people would rather have pictures on the front cover and all writing on the inside.

  1. I think that to improve your magazine you could put a bit less writing on the front and add a few more pictures to make it more readable for the younger students throughout the school. However i like that you have included pictures from the year 11's prom on the front cover as it was one of the main highlights to end the school era and i think that it is something that the majority of the students and teachers would want to look at and read about.
