Magazine Analysis - Top of the Pops (Double Page Spread)

This is a Top of the Pops double page spread which is again a pop magazine which is trying to appeal to a young female audience. The colour scheme shows this target audience as it is purple which is a 'girl' colour and the whole page is made up of different shades of purple. There are also pink bubbles with little quotes from the interview which makes the reader interested to read the whole thing. A picture of the band is in the middle of the page and is very large which is appealing to the audience and fans of the band who want to see them and read about them. They are carrying weights which is appealing to the fans who find them attractive. On the right hand side of the page they have a subheading which is 'you're gorgeous too' which is again engaging to the fans who admire them. There is also another image of one of the band members in the middle of the interview which breaks up the text and appeals to the audience who may not want to read a lot of text.
