Today I learnt how to use Pixlr and feel comfortable using the main features after half an hour. Editing pictures is important when creating a magazine as hyper reality, which means the blurring the lines of reality, is expected in magazines. When using Pixlr I changed the colour of the image and added different layers so I could keep the colour on certain parts of the picture. This was simple enough to do and therefore when creating my magazine I will be able to edit my images and create higher quality pictures to use. This will also mean that taking the pictures will be less of an issue, as I will be able to change some imperfections afterwards using this software.
